Aust PM Howard - Greig decision humiliates rest of Democrats
Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD says the Australian Democrats appear to have deliberatelyhumiliated their parliamentary party by choosing Senator BRIAN GREIG as their interimleader.
Mr HOWARD says Senator GREIG has been chosen by the party's national executive whena majority of the parliamentary party wanted ADEN RIDGEWAY.
But Mr HOWARD's told Melbourne Radio 3AW he won't pass judgement on whether the decisionto appoint Senator GREIG as interim leader will make the Democrats easier to deal with.
